Hi, we're staying at the Oceania Club for a week from next Weds, and thinking of hiring a car for just a couple of days to go out and explore the Kassandra peninsula, and also perhaps Sithonia.
Can anyone give me an idea of how much car hire would cost per day or per couple of days? I'm hoping it will be possible to get the hotel to arrange this for us, rather than us have to go to pick up a car from elsewhere, but again, any advice on this would be appreciated. Many thanks!

I suppose it depends what type of car you're after.

I'll be heading to Halkidiki in a couple of weeks and have booked a Jeep for the week. That works out about 40 euros per day. If you didn't want to spend that, you could get a Hyundai Atos 1.1 for about 25-30 euros per day.

If you email manolass@otenet.gr they are a hire company based not too far from you. They should be able to quote you.

Have a good holiday

Matt

Thanks Matt, that's helpful and I hadn't thought of hiring a heep - might be fun for us too! We're a couple with a 12 year old and 14 year old so whatever we hire needs to seat 4 comfortably, but no luggage space required.
